Location

            Idaikattur village is located in South India in Tamil Nadu state. It is at a distance of 37 kms towards the east of the temple city Madurai on the Madurai to Rameswaram national highway.

Directions

        From Chennai to Madurai by flight/train/bus.

        Then take Madurai to Rameswaram/Paramakudi/Kamuthi route by bus

                                  (Any bus goes via Muthenendal).

        Stop at  Muthenendal, at the 37th km from Madurai

        Get  down and travel towards north to a distance of 1.5 km by an auto rickshaw, town bus or on

             foot. Idaikattur is located on the other bank of the Vaigai River.

        You will  reach Sacred Heart of Jesus Shrine at Idaikattur village.
